 Fairy Queen comes out of the Treasure Chest of the Indian railways. Built in the year 1855, this 151 year old pristine beaty, now comes alive!  The oldest working steam locomotive in the world, kept at the National Rail Museum, New Delhi, runs once again, taking 50 discerning passengers on an unforgettable two day weekend trip from Delhi to Alwar on selected days. The train consists of just one First Class Chair Car and a pantry car, all majestically hauled by the fabled Fairy Queen. The two day trip includes departure from Delhi Cantt. Railway Station at 1000 IST hours on Day-1, reaching Alwar at 1600 IST hours on the same day. the night halt is at Sariska (near Alwar) from where the tourists are taken around the Tiger sanctuary the next day morning. And yes, the night at Sariska is full of entertainment with ethnic artistes performing; for you exclusively! The Fairy Queen has recently featured in the Guiness Book of World Records as the oldest running steam engine.

Fairy Queen Tour Programme

Day 1: Report Delhi Cantt at 0900hrs and depart for Alwar at 1000hrs.
Arrival at Alwar Station and drive to Sariska Hotel (1.5 hrs).

Day 2:
Early Morning visit to Sariska tiger Reserve. Breakfast at Hotel and drive to Alwar station. Board the Fairy Queen for journey back to Delhi. Lunch on board. Evening arrival at Delhi Cantt.

GOLDEN TRIANGLE BY RAIL
Duration: 05 Nights / 6 Days
Destinations Covered: Delhi, Jaipur, Agra, Delhi

Day 01 - Arrive Delhi

Day 02 - Delhi
City tour of New Delhi & Old Delhi covering Birla Temple, India gate, Parliament area, Government buildings, Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, Gandhi memorial, Jama Masjid. Overnight Delhi.

Day 03 - Delhi / Jaipur
Arrival at Jaipur. City tour of Jaipur covering Hawa Mahal, City Palace, Royal Observatory & Bazaar.

Day 04 - Jaipur
Visit Amber Fort. Amber Fort was the ancient capital of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with mirrors.

Day 05 - Jaipur / Agra
Arrive at Agra in the evening.

Day 06 - Agra / Delhi
City tour visiting Taj Mahal, Red fort, Itmad-ud-Daula's Tomb. Board on train to return to New Delhi and transfer to airport for return flight.
